Gaza 

Muhammad F. Hamdan is a highly accomplished dental student from Gaza. He and his family used to live near the loudspeakers in Khan Yunis. The ongoing destruction in Gaza has postponed his dream of becoming a dentist. Muhammad comes from a family with four sisters and two parents. For more updates, follow his Instagram (@mhm3d.fawzi). This fundraiser is organized by his cousin, Diana Ahmed.

Mahmoud owned a small business making neon signs in Gaza City. His workshop was destroyed during the ongoing genocide of Gaza, along with his dreams of a better future. Mahmoud's 6 siblings and his parents have lost their home and sources of income. His father Nehad has a heart condition and they struggle to find essential medication and proper healthcare for him. The Jerbril family is currently collecting donations for Dr. Tawfiq Jerbril (Instagram: @tawfiq.jebril), who has chosen to stay behind to help rebuild his community.

The Jerbril brothers completed their PhDs at Xi’an Jiaotong University in China. Dr. Tawfiq Jerbril is an architecture professor, while Dr. Majed Jerbril (Instagram: @majedjebril) is a public health expert. Majed’s wife, Basma, is also an architect in Gaza. Together, Majed and Basma have two young children, Bana and Abdelrahman. Bana is a budding artist who specializes in colored pencil drawing (Instagram: @banam_j014).

Although Majed’s family has safely evacuated to Cairo, his brother Tawfiq decided to stay. The funds collected will be used to help Tawfiq survive during this ongoing humanitarian crisis.

Ghazal Abu Dalal's family consists of eight members: Ghazal has three sisters, two brothers, and their parents. She had a career in information technology and owned a beautiful family home, but the ongoing destruction in Gaza has taken everything away from her. Despite the hardships and challenges she faces, Ghazal dedicates her time to volunteering at local mutual aid initiatives, where she distributes packaged meals to her community. Your donations will help Ghazal cover necessities such as food, water, hygiene products, clothing, and medication. Follow her on Instagram (@ghazal.abu.dalal) to learn more about her story .

Anas (Instagram: @anasalnaffar) is collecting donations for his family, which consists of eight members; most of whom are children. These donations will help keep them alive during the ongoing genocide. Anas's family also needs to find a safe place to stay, as they have been displaced multiple times. Any amount, big or small, will assist them with daily necessities.

Mohammed Alswaitti is a 16-year-old boy from Gaza. His family includes his sister Asil, their father Ibrahim, their brother Ahmed and his wife Alaa, who have two children named Ibrahim and Eila. Additionally, there is their sister Asma and her husband Mohammed, who also have two children named Tala and Dyala. Due to the ongoing bombings in Rafah and Deir al-Balah, Mohammed has been moving his family frequently. Unfortunately, the Alswaitti family is currently separated as a result of multiple displacements. Asil (Instagram: @asool.ibrahim) is leading a fundraising campaign to help evacuate her family overseas. With the Rafah border still closed, your donations will be used to secure daily necessities and prepare for evacuation when the border opens again.

Nagham Skaik previously owned a sweets and pastry shop called Honey Yum Yum in Gaza, which has been destroyed by bombing. Despite this setback, Nagham continues to use her baking skills to support her community by preparing and distributing food. She has extensive experience in making gluten-free products for individuals with celiac disease, many of whom also face severe nutritional deficiencies. Nagham with her husband Hesham has opened a temporary school for displaced children in Gaza, named Wings of Success.

In addition, Nagham is the mother of three children: Leen, Ali, and Rahaf. Nagham’s husband Hesham, a medical doctor, has been volunteering his services at local hospitals without receiving any payment to support their family. Motaz Harb (Instagram: @mo3tazkhaled) is an interior designer who previously owned a studio (@eng.motaz.harb) in Gaza. He and his wife, Zahoor Alhato, have a young daughter named Tala. Zahoor (Instagram: @zahoor_alhato) used to work in the Banking and Financial Sciences department at the Islamic University of Gaza, but the ongoing siege has resulted in significant losses for their family, including Motaz and Zahoor's jobs and their family home.

Initially, they planned to fundraise enough money to evacuate to Cairo, but an issue with their GoFundMe campaign's payout shattered that dream. Currently, Motaz and Zahoor are collecting donations through Zahoor's brother, Mohammed, using his PayPal account to help cover daily necessities, especially formula and diapers for Tala.

Iman Ayyad (Instagram: @Iman_Ayad_91) is a 33-year-old mother of five from Gaza and a Palestinian embroidery (“tatreez”) artist. For 12 years, her intricate hand-embroidered pieces were shipped worldwide, supporting her family and empowering other women in Gaza. However, her home and business were destroyed.

Now, Iman and her family live in a tent in Al-Mawasi. She dreams of evacuating to Egypt to rebuild her life and restart her embroidery business.

Ahmad Salem (Instagram: @ahmad.moamer) is a devoted father from Gaza, once built a beautiful home filled with love, comfort, and happy memories for his family. But in an instant, the genocide took everything—his home, his photography equipment, and even the clothes and toys of his baby girl, who is not yet a year old. Ahmad and his family sleep on the ground in a tent, enduring harsh cold, hunger, and illness. The pain of seeing his daughter deprived of her childhood, her comfortable bed, and her toys is unbearable.

Your donations will be used for covering daily expenses and helping them get through this genocide.

Hanin (Tiktok: @haninsfamily) is a 32-year-old mother of three from Gaza. They lost their home, business, and dreams, fleeing multiple times to escape bombings. Now, they live in a tent on unsuitable land, struggling to find food, clean water, and medicine. Hanin’s father was seriously injured while searching for food and needs urgent medical care, but hospitals and supplies are scarce. Hanin dreams of getting her parents to safety in Egypt.

Nour Krayyem (Instagram: @gaza2you) has already lost 20 family members, including seven immediate relatives, to the war in Gaza. Now, she is desperately trying to save the rest of her family—16 people, including her parents, 7 sisters, 2 brothers, and their children. They are living in constant danger, without access to food, water, or basic necessities. Nour’s family are too young to understand the horrors of war. Every donation, no matter how small, brings them closer to survival and hope.

Hussam (Instagram: @lrhm93i), a brave 15-year-old from Gaza, is the backbone of his family of six. After their home was destroyed, they now struggle to survive without basic necessities. His siblings—a 10-year-old brother, a 7-year-old sister, and a baby sister just a few months old—are in desperate need of food, water, and diapers. Despite his own hardships, Hussam selflessly helps his community by organizing food baskets for others.

Feras, a Palestinian from Gaza. He is a computer engineering student at Al-Quds Open University. He ran a small business with his family, but everything was destroyed. On his birthday, he woke up to bombs instead of candles. They fled to Rafah, but there’s no safety here either. Bombs fall daily, and they live in constant fear. His family of 16—including a 2-week-old baby—are all crammed into a tiny tent. They go days without food.

Alaa, (Instagram: srkhal2) is a 24 years old from Khan Yunis. Her home was completely destroyed in this war. Since November, her family of 10—including her pregnant self and her father, who suffers from a severe heart condition—has been fleeing from one place to another in Gaza. She is terrified of giving birth in these conditions, with no access to proper medical care. Her father’s life is at risk without the medication he desperately needs, which is nearly impossible to find due to the war.

Mohammed Khalaf (Instagram: srkhal2) and his family are enduring unimaginable hardships in Gaza. After losing their home and source of income at the start of the war, they now live in a makeshift tent made of nylon and wood, offering little protection from the cold winter and relentless rain. Displaced multiple times—from Bureij camp to Rafah, and now to Deir al-Balah—they struggle to find even the most basic necessities.

The Abuaqlein family (Instagram: naser_abuaqlain) includes Wael, Nahla, and their six children. Wael is a dedicated government employee, and Nahla is a devoted teacher. Their children are Reema (a dentist), Khaled and Hazem (accountants), and Yaser and Naser (engineers). After 470 days of displacement, the family has returned to their destroyed home in the north. They face respiratory and digestive illnesses from polluted water, lack of food, and unsanitary conditions. Many loved ones have been lost, and they are trying to rebuild their lives.

Dr. Muhammad Al-Najjar (Twitter: M7madNajar) is an intensive care doctor in Gaza who dedicated his life to saving others amidst the horrors of war. His family was forced to flee their home, and an airstrike left his 14-month-old daughter with a severe brain injury. Thanks to humanitarian efforts, she and her mother are now in Turkey receiving medical treatment, but Muhammad remains in Gaza, serving his community while longing to reunite with his family.

Ahmad’s sister, Eman, her husband, and their three children—Nabil (8), Mai (5), and baby Haya (5 months)—fled their home in Northern Gaza when it was destroyed by bombs. They walked 40km to Rafah with nothing but a backpack each, leaving behind everything they owned. They lived in a tent with no food, clothes, or even diapers for Haya, who was born just days before the war. He managed to evacuate them to Egypt, but he needs your help to cover the costs and pay of the huge debt of the evacuation fees.

Tariq Mezher (Instagram: @tarq_hussam) is a dedicated physical therapist from Gaza. After earning his bachelor’s degree in 2020, he worked hard to save money for his master’s education. But his home was completely destroyed when a neighboring house was bombed, leaving him injured in his foot and his father seriously injured. Tariq is struggling to rebuild his life, care for his injured father, complete his education, and evacuate his family to safety. His dream of becoming a master’s-level physical therapist is on hold as he fights to survive.

Sama Mahmoud Ahmed Abu Rida (Instagram: @sama.ridaa) , a 16-year-old from Gaza, once dreamed of a bright future. But the war has shattered her life. Her father, Mahmoud, has been taken hostage by IDF forces, and his whereabouts are unknown. Sama, her mother Reham, and her four siblings—Nezaz (19), Abdul Rahman (10), Fathi (8), and Maryam (5)—are now living in a refugee tent community, struggling to survive.

Mohammed (Instagram: @mohammed._reida) lived a simple life in Gaza, working from 7 AM to 10 PM at a barbecue shop to support his wife and save for fertility treatments. After 2 years, they finally got pregnant—but war destroyed everything. Displaced multiple times, his son Hashim was born in a cold, bombarded tent. Now, they struggle daily: no food, clean water, or diapers for Hashim. They endure freezing nights, scorching days, and constant fear.

Maram (Instagram: @maram9.11.1997) is a 26-year-old from Gaza. She studied basic education, graduated, and worked hard to support her family. After losing her mother to cancer at age 3, she grew up with her father, stepmother, and five siblings. They were displaced from their home in Khan Younis. Now, they live in harsh conditions—no clean water, no electricity, and no hope. Maram’s dreams of pursuing a master’s degree and finding a specialized job were shattered by the war. She hopes to protect her family and start anew in a safer place.

Mohammed and Asmaa (Instagram: @mohammedr.qudaih), a young couple in Gaza, are six months pregnant with their son Musaab. Instead of preparing for their baby’s arrival, they’re living in a fragile tent in Al-Mawasi, sleeping on a dirt floor, exposed to the cold, and surrounded by bombings. Asmaa is suffering from malnutrition and anemia, while Mohammed, injured in a bombing, struggles to care for his family. They urgently need fresh food, medical treatment, and funds to escape to safety before Musaab is born.
